I have read this story so many times that I can quote parts of it. I love this fiction — it is the best Riddick and Jack. The emotions that flow through these two is so poignant! And the extra characters are fully developed as well. That is so hard for me as a writer to do. I cannot write Riddick — I would never be able to bring to his personna what you do. I’ll stick to Reese and hope I can do his character justice. Thank you, Ardath.

Hey, I’d really loved this story. It was great and I agree with a previous review this should have been a sequal. The way the relationship was handled was fantastic what more can I say!

Mr. Bigglesworth

I just felt like I had to say, that this should’ve been the sequel to ‘Pitch Black’. I read this story long before the movie came out, and consequentially, no matter how good the movie itself was, I knew it would never be as good as your story. It’s amazing, and I’m reading it for the fourth time, because I absolutely love it. It’s fabulous, and I’d just like to tell you that, and congratulate you on this masterpiece of fanfiction. Thank you for giving us something amazing to read.

Riddick's Sita

Well it took a few days, but I finally finished The Apprentice and I loved it. I only discovered fan fiction a few weeks ago, and now I am completely hooked on anything with Riddick. Your story is one of my favorites, and that’s saying a lot. The way your characters grew and changed and fell in love is beautiful. I don’t think there was anything creepy about Riddick and Jack, especially not in this story. If you ever start a mailing list, pls include me (sitamumpa@hotmail.com). Good luck and I hope to read one of your books someday : )
