I\u2019m still maintaining a two-chapters-per-week pace at the moment, to my amazement\u2026 and now I\u2019m starting to see the \u201clight\u201d at the end of the tunnel. I definitely won\u2019t be done by the 20th anniversary of the first chapter\u2019s launch\u2026 but this story has taken a number of surprising turns along the way that I never could have anticipated. Somehow, when a tiny bit character named \u201cTomlin\u201d first appeared in the story, everything changed\u2026 and next thing I knew, my heroines were getting immersed in unexpected intrigue and a culture that I\u2019m honestly fascinated with. Plus a little crustacean crawled out of nowhere and took over.<\/i><\/p>\r\n\r\n

These things happen\u2026<\/p>\r\n\r\n

It\u2019s looking like there are another 10-15 chapters to go before we return to the \u201cframe story\u201d and Riddick reappears in the \u201cflesh.\u201d But there are some wild twists ahead and my Jack Muse is not<\/i> happy with me about them\u2026 hopefully she won\u2019t start holding chapters hostage to try to get me to rethink the plot, though!
