The Slow Burn

Synopsis: In this Alternate Universe version of Pitch Black, another survivor made it out of the crash alive, but wishes she hadn’t. Her grief over the loss of her family makes her reckless and self-destructive, and she’s drawn to Riddick as if he’s catnip. But she might find healing with him instead of destruction… or not.

I read this story when it was first posted, waaaaay back in the day at a Pitch Black fanfiction site (I don’t remember the name but it also hosted Apprentice) and I just wish it had been finished.

It’s an amazing read, and I still cry when we get to the chapter about losing Morgan.
